This romantic mystery novel, "CROWNED and DANGEROUS," is part of the Royal Spyness Mystery Collection. This story takes place in the early 1900's in the British Isles, at the time when motorcars and aeroplanes were new. Penniless Lady Georgiana Rannoch and her equally penniless beau Darcy O'Mara, (an Irish nobleman), are sneaking to Ireland to elope. His father was forced to sell the family castle to a mysterious American. The reclusive new owner was only interested in books and horses. He employed Darcy's father in the stables at "his" new castle. When the American is found murdered, Darcy's father is charged with the crime. The evidence against him is so strong, that even Darcy secretly believes he might truly be guilty. Regardless of his suspensions, Darcy and Lady Georgiana fight to solve the mystery. Lady Georgiana is the 35th in line for Queen and from time to time is asked by the Royal Palace to quietly "investigate" certain situations. Darcy is Lady Georgiana's beau and he could also be secretly working for the queen, but Lady Georgiana is never truly certain of this. This hardbound novel is in LIKE NEW condition.
