For your consideration is this vintage, 1980s SUPER RARE New York Dolls t-shirt from Mosquitohead. This bleached black t-shirt features Bob Gruen’s iconic 1974 photo of the band taken in a Santa Monica bathroom. The New York Dolls logo is in hot pink across the top of the photo and repeated across the center in bright blue, with a lip print in the center. This short sleeve, 100% cotton tee is marked a size extra large, but as it is a vintage item, it runs smaller, so please pay attention to the measurements. Neck to shoulder: 6.5” Shoulder to shoulder: 19.75” Sleeve length: 8” Sleeve opening: 7” Chest: 43” Waist: 44” Hem: 46” Overall length: 27.5” Made in the USA by Hanes. Single stitch construction. This t-shirt is not a reproduction, it is an original. I purchased this at Trash and Vaudeville in NYC between 1986 and 1987. Please note: This tee is in very good vintage condition. It has been worn and machine washed, but it’s been in storage in my parents’ home for the past 25 years. There are no holes, rips, tears, or stains.
