The upper band is sheathed in a gold metal wash is wider than the narrow silver thin metal rigid wire band that circles the underneath section of the wrist. The bracelet has tested sterling; does show a sterling hallmark stamp. Measurements: The interior oval-shaped circumference that circles the wrist measures 6.5 inches. The pair of serpent's head combined together measure approximately 0.75 inches wide. The wire band on the underneath side of the wrist is very thin.
