@sloaneken I'm so sorry I didn't see this message. I am not sure of the year as this is a reposhed item. It feels like there is a coating on it, but I don't know the answer to whether or not it needs to be waxed. I typically wear a small and I'd say it is TTS. Minimal pilling by the bottom of the interior that could easily be removed if I had a working machine for it.
