The inners are made with organic ingredients, such as buckwheat, flaxseed, and organic lavender buds. You could also add whatever essential oil on your choice by dropping it on your forehead pillow to soak in. These are not washable. Possibly could be microwavable to create warmth and could be put in a freezer to cool. Mainly they are used in deep relaxation at the end of every yoga class.
