Ah-maaaaazing Vintage Hawaiian Bark Cloth Maxi Dress by CC Fashions Hawaii. The princess-seamed bodice has cranberry velvet trim. The bark cloth is primarily Black with Red, Golden Brown, Green and Cream floral pattern featuring the most beautifully depicted hibiscus flowers. There is a petite cotton ruffle encircling the hem in wine (a bit darker than the velvet on the dress). Labeled a Vintage 9/10, measurements align with a modern Medium: Underarm to underarm 18” (has 1/2” more with a gentle stretch), 17” waist and is approx. 53” long. The dress is clipped to my Size XS dress form. Just gorgeous. REALLY gorgeous. And in perfect condition! Made in Hawaii, circa 1970’s is my guesstimate.
