Vintage Coach Prarie 9954 Brown Leather Shoulder Bag

This is a vintage Coach Prairie shoulder bag that I purchased in 2019. I spent many hours during Covid restoring it. The photo collage at the end are photos of the purse when I received it. The purse has been deep cleaned inside and out with Murphy's Oil Soap. I then used Fiebing's deglazer, followed by Fiebing's leather dye in British Tan. I then touched up the edges of the purse using Fiebing's edge kote in brown, and added a protective clear coat of Fiebing's resolene. I conditioned the bag as needed using Cadillac's leather conditioner. I don't recall spraying the interior with a suede protector, so I recommend doing that if you're able. The bag was a mahogany brown and I was trying to go for British Tan, but it resulted in a deeper chocolate color. I also polished the brass hardware but didn't do too much. There were some small worn spots on the side of the purse that dye nor edge kote could cover, but they are not noticeable. I did enjoy using this bag and hope its new owner will enjoy it for years to come! Comes from a non-smoking and pet-free home.
