Lovely mid-century Vero Legno Italian Baroque design letter/vanity tray hand-painted in shades of gold, brown, tan and white with a lacquer glaze. The company made these trays in the1950s/1960s. Tray is light, so though it is wood, it is probably a wood composite. Decorative and functional. Can be used on vanity, as a catchall, on desk-anywhere to add that Italian elegance. Marked underside "Vero Legno Florence." Tray is in great condition.
