alliscaylen81 @leilasas hi I’m not the seller Of this item but on the website it says a size small will stretch up to 38 inch hips. But from personal experience these dresses are super stretchy because of the material, you can definitely size down if you wanted. Hope that helps.

sandra_d_121 @leilasas yes, the fabric is pretty stretchy. When I used to sell reproduction vintage professionally, the rule of thumb was to measure for the bust first, then the hips and waist. Reason being that's it more affordable to alter the waist and hip oppose to bust. Vixen uses a beautiful stretchy material, millennium division of Bengaline fabric, which is forgiving and acts like a magic cincher. They never hold out on quality.

sandra_d_121 @leilasas I'm not home to measure, but a small fits a 35-37 bust, 26-27.5 waist and 36.5 to 38 inch hip. While there is some stretch in the material below the waist, the bust area doesn't really have the same stretch. I wear a small/medium, 36 in bust, in Vixen. I find this dress to be a little snug in the bust for me. So in my honest opinion, I would say a medium would be best.
