Thank you! Shared back! We have had over 16 inches of rain in less than 24 hours. All of South Texas is flooded. A number of my friends are experiencing flooding in their homes. Luckily my house is in a high area and we’ve never had problems with flooding ( even during hurricanes). The power at my house has held out so far. We did have some small hail earlier today tho. We are supposed to have another day of rain tomorrow so we shall see how all this turns out 😔🤞 🙏

Thank you! Shared for Saturday. My city got 23 inches of rain in 30 hours. So many people have lost their homes, businesses & vehicles to the flood waters. Luckily all we had was one roof leak & one door leak. My mother’s neighborhood is flooded and no one can get out or in. Hopefully the water continues to recede and things will be better tomorrow. And I’m so grateful that mostly the damages were to material possessions and people made it thru safely.

Then she got a notice from Poshmark saying the user, ajhinson15 requested styling for “Trending Now” and commented: - I think that is standard info but what followed was not. Will have to break this into separate comments as it’s too long.

But wanted to pass on this attempt since for those in a rush, not thinking things through, they might think it's legit since the origin does come via Posh to your account.

We shouldn’t have anything until the weekend, but the western side of state is already getting some they’re talking about massive amounts of rainfall as well as tornadoes & the like. So awful. @tracigonzalez Too tired to share tonight, long day…up most of the night with the severe storm. I thought we might be spared, but once it was north of us, it started pushing southeast and came right over us. The strong stuff lasted about 2.5 hours, then thunderstorms until around 8 AM. We were under tornado watch, but were spared that.

We didn’t get the storms blowing up today, just rain, but tomorrow evening into Wednesday morning/afternoon we are in the level 2-3 risk for severe storms. They had tornadoes as not likely until this evening, then it changed. 😩 We will see what it looks like in the AM. After this batch I think we get a break with much cooler weather. Thank you! Shared back! We had storms over night and got a little over 2 inches of rain. There was hail in the forecast but luckily we didn’t get any. We did have about 4000 people without electricity all day tho. I saw on the news that Central Texas has been getting really bad hail this week. 😩

I know for this area, we are way up over what we were last year as far as severe storms. I pray it doesn’t continue and things calm down for our country. We have had rain off and on through the weekend and everyday since, but so far, nothing severe. Continue to take care and I pray everyone will get their power back on ASAP!

@tracigonzalez We had thunderstorms this morning & rain throughout the day. There was a tornado about an hour and a half away, further south. They say this dust can help settle and not allow storms to form, so I’m OK with the dust heading our way. 😊 It has to travel from the coast so I don’t know if it’s as much as you will get, but it is supposed to reach here bring haze to the Smokies. Congrats on your sale! Just shared for today. Thank you for always sharing for me!

Shared for Monday. 💕♥️💕We had a rainy day today and then tonight our air conditioner stopped working. It’s going to be one hot 🥵 night. Luckily because of the rain during the day the temperature will remain at 80 overnight outside and then hopefully the repairman will be here in the morning to fix it before the temps soar back into the 90s. I just called the answering service to make an appointment asap. It’s always something right?!! Wishing you a good start to your week!

Thank you so much! I only had a couple hours of sleep last night because of the heat but the AC tech got it fixed this afternoon and I was able to take a few little cat naps during the day. The house got up to 88 degrees while it was off and it’s taken it awhile to cool back down. It’s at 76 now and feels sooo much better!

Congrats on your sandal sale! 👏 We had downpours yesterday, super light today, but flash flooding at the TN/NC border on I-40 has shut down the interstate again. Thankfully the construction barriers they had up, saved some cars from going off the side of the mountain into the River. Not sure how long it will stay closed. It was hit hard in Helene and part of the interstate collapsed then. We haven’t had it open that long! 😢

Thank you so much! Shared back. The tropical system finally moved out of our area. One the 3 days we had 7 inches of rain and temps were in the 70’s. It was a nice break from the hot & dry summer weather we always have. The plants 🪴 were loving it too!

It’s a nightmare situation and I am praying for everyone. It reminds me of the floods that happened here during hurricane Helene. The water comes up so fast you can’t even believe it. It’s devastating. 😢

Stay safe in the pasture tonight! Hopefully it will be a much quieter night. 🤞 The flooding in central texas has been so tragic. A woman I know in my hometown lost her 9 year old granddaughter at camp Mystic in the flood. And a friend of mine from college had her daughter at camp Mystic as a counselor but she is home safe now after an extremely harrowing experience 😩

@tracigonzalez Turns out my Mom’s heart had flatlined for 5 seconds when she felt like she was blacking out. She has to have a leadless pacemaker implanted in her atrium on Tuesday. They wanted it done as soon as possible. They would’ve done it today if they could have. It’s scary to know her heart could just stop beating.

If not, maybe they will have better luck getting them in faster.  I think the new shipping starts tomorrow, but if you have to use priority? Mark will cover the extra fee for the next 30 days. So that gives us a little more time if needed.

@tracigonzalez I got some packaging supplies today. It appears I only got some boxes and large padded envelopes. I did not open my sealed boxes because it appears that’s all they are. But it’s possible the smaller boxes and smaller envelopes are somehow tucked in there? I guess I can open them up later and see.

I’m glad you got some supplies. The first of mine to arrive where the boxes and they were wrapped separately. Each size box was in a separate polymailers. then about a week or so later I received a poly mailer full of poly mailers and another poly mailer full of cardboard mailers. Then, today I received a shipment of padded mailers.

So it appears I have received everything I ordered. Once the usps acknowledged they had received my order they e mailed me a tracking number for each different item so I was able to see the tracking for each part of the order. Hopefully the ordering gets smoother and better overtime.

We’re supposed to stay that way this week even though that’s a little bit below normal, but we’ve been getting loads of rain more on the way all day tomorrow. @tracigonzalez I i’m not sure where to go for clarification because there’s no point in people sharing for me and taking time to do that if it doesn’t impact anything. It’s not like they have the bulk sharing ability on my closet. In some ways it’s concerning to me because I’m not quite sure how to keep my closet up in the feed. If I don’t have a lot of questions to answer to be relevant, does that hurt me? I guess time will tell. 😞

@dafox The only place shares go now is to the top of the brand page . So if someone is searching a specific brand then the items just shared will be at the top of that page until replaced by other shares. And if we share to a party then items just shared will be moved briefly to the top until they are replaced by others.

@tracigonzalez I can’t do that. When I did the trial I got one same and didn’t make enough on that sale to cover what it would have cost me to promote it for that time period. I’ll see how things go and then go from there. It’s disappointing.

@tracigonzalez Posh gave me back the same blog answer, saying sharing your own increasing visibility in the just shared feed, but it doesn’t do that when you share for others. They said sharing for others just supports the community. I asked them how it does that if it doesn’t increase visibility.

@brokegrandmom Good morning, I shared back. Posh has changed the way the search engines work, so sharing for others does not impact their visibility in the feeds or in the search engine. I asked them if it shows up if you share others into the parties but did not get an answer back.

@dafox @brokegrandmom They said the best way to support your closet was to answer your questions, promptly, etc. So I’ve started posting comments for people on their items so they can respond and hopefully that helps elevate their closets. If you would like to exchange comments we can do that tooI left one on your Crossbody bag listing as an example. Hope it helps! I like to be supportive of others as much as I can.

@brokegrandmom They say the new search engine will help people find our items better than just with our sharing, so I hope that is true and it makes a difference. I noticed that they took the share count off in the new app update that's at the top of our closets, so I think sharing will soon be out. But they just need to flat out tell people. Hopefully they will be clear about it soon. Merry Christmas to you! I'll share back now.

@brokegrandmom Sales can be hit or miss. But I heard they said that clear listing titles, detailed listing info and lots of pictures with a video will improve sales. Also dropping prices, making deals, all seen as a good closet. My sales went up this month, so I don’t know if it is the new search engine or just random. But I’m doing the comment thing and trying to list more and make offers. Hoping it works out for us all!

@brokegrandmom I’m hoping the new search engines are just designed to do the work for us. They were going to have an online training session for how to list in the new search engines are, but something went wrong. If you didn’t see the notice, it was in the banner above the comments. If I see it scheduled again, I can send you a note to make sure you see it. You have to register for the event which is online.

@dafox I did see it and read it quickly. I shared a woman this morning who I used to share everyday. I shared 20. She wrote I only shared 13 and only returned 13. She said we can’t see how many we share now. I wrote her whatever. Im careful and not going to loose sleep over the shares not returned. Such pettiness! 😂 If you hear anything else, keep me posted and thank you. Sometimes I miss changes.

@brokegrandmom It is true that the update took away the ability to go back and check what you shared. They did that because sharing for others doesn’t help who you are sharing for anymore. It only counts as you being an active member. So if they share back less it hurts them. It doesn’t help you even when they share. It’s just hard to kind of get used to that when we have been told to do it in the past.

@dafox It’s was always a social sell site and I guess new owner trying to do away with it. It’s time consuming to share but was nice to interact with people. I still share some regulars everyday, others a few x’s a week. Hard to know what to do anymore. And I did know we can’t check what we share. Thankfully they brought back bulk sharing for our own closets. If you want me to share you a few x’s a week, let me know. It’s no big deal to me to share. ❤️

@dafox Yes, my hope is that they come out and be clear about what we should be doing so that people don’t waste time doing things that aren’t beneficial for anyone. I was told that replying in a timely manner two questions in our closet was beneficial to our accounts so for those wishing to do interactions, I think posting a comment on one of the listings and then replying. It is the most beneficial thing to do right now.
