Amazing Vintage find! I don't know exactly how old this coat is but let me tell you, purchased at an estate sale, I witnessed someone trying it on and it was literally coming apart at the seams. The threading was so old and dried out I guess that the simple act of trying it on caused the seams to come apart. I purchased it and took to a professional tailor who reinforced all the seams. It is now in near perfect condition. I'm guessing its from the 40's at least. Its just a beautiful garment. The only things I feel I should mention is that the pockets are very shallow and there are 2 small areas where the moths have gotten to it, shown in the last 2 photos, one is on the sleeve and the other is near the bottom of the back, but it is minimal. It has no size label but I am confident it is comparable to a size 12 or L/XL. Nonetheless here are the measurements: Shoulder to shoulder across the back measures 17.5" the pit to pit measurement is 22" also across the back. The sleeve length is 23" from the top shoulder seam to the sleeve hem. The length hits just below the knee. . Camel colored and lined, it doesn't button up or zip. I have had it professionally dry cleaned for resale. Someone out there is going to love this cashmere coat!!
