Are these a true 9.5 US in your estimation? Asking because 39.5 EUROPE is not a 9.5 US?

@4bakers4him I am a size 9 and these run too big on me. My mom is a true 9.5 and they fit her perfectly so I would say they are quite accurate for the US sizing. It is odd how the European is 39.5?
