Amazing Goldette necklace with purple glass intaglio

This is an eye-catcher like so many of Goldette’s pieces! Gorgeous antiqued, ornate gold tone frame surrounds a purple glass intaglio of Venus and Cupid. The glass is smooth in front, with the design etched on the back. There are 5 bezel set purple glass stones in the dangles below the center element. The chain on this piece is also amazing. There is an embossed center element that leads to beautiful floral and fleur de lis embossed links forming the chain. The chain itself measures 26”, the pendant adds another 3 1/2” in length, including the dangles, it’s 2 1/2” wide. This piece is not signed, but it is a known Goldette piece and is spot on with their design aesthetic. Circa 1960’s to 1970’s. In excellent vintage condition. The gold plating is intact and shiny, the clasp works well. The glass is intact with a few very minor surface abrasions. Incredible piece, will make any outfit you wear it with!
