Charming lidded bowl and matching underplate featuring a hand-painted tomato motif with leafy green accents and periwinkle dots. Dated 1990 and signed on both pieces, this playful set was crafted in Vermont and exudes a folk art feel. The lid's 3D tomato handle adds a delightful touch of whimsy. Rim is painted in soft lavender blue. Some chips along the bowl's rim (see photos) do not affect usability or display. Plate measures approx. 9.25" across; bowl stands about 3" high without the lid, approx. 4.25" with.
