Nya - Issey Miyake - Breton Tee

"Nya" (にゃー / ニャー) or "nyan" (にゃん / ニャン) is the Japanese word for the sound a cat makes, similar to the English word "meow"! Issey Miyake is a fashion designer and founder of the eponymous fashion label. Miyake was born in 1938 in Hiroshima, Japan and graduated with a degree in graphic design from Tama Art University in 1964 before founding Miyake Design Studio in Tokyo in 1970.
