This may be due to the leather backing on the inside od the belt. I purchased a few of these and love them all. I think this just happened naturally. Approximate Measurements: TOTAL Length: 45.5 Inches Width: 2 Inches 5 holes 25.5 Inched to First Hole 38.5 Inches to Third Hole 40.5 Inches to Fifth Hole Please see photo where it shows a sticker underneath the buckle area. It says 38, which appears to mean an Approximate belt size. All of these belts are made in India. Beautiful belt. See measurements in photos. Also, these belts are several years old. They were a collab with Free People years ago. Please look closely at all photos. I believe they are made with real leather. They certainly have that new leather smell. I just love them!
