I’ve been able to recover some jewelry and I had a few small shipments of new inventory arrive that I ordered before the fire. Unfortunately, 85% of my closet is a loss.
I’m trying to figure out a space for Posh in my new home.. It may be the dining room table for now.

I write this with a heavy but thankful heart. Our house caught fire this evening. Thankfully, we all made it out unharmed but sadly one of our cats didn’t make it. My entire Poshmark closet is a loss. My entire closet was the front room of the home that I circled with the white heart.
I’m devastated but thankful my family is safe. That’s what really matters. Please pray for peace and strength for us as we navigate this difficult time. I love & appreciate all of you.
I did spend time packing orders today and had them by the front door. Once we were all out safely I threw as many packages out to the yard as I could. 17 to be exact! My neighbor is taking them to the post office in the morning.

@lux_in_fla Thank you!! I appreciate you reaching out. I’m trying to do a live in 2 weeks. I was able to retrieve lots of jewelry surprisingly. I watched the flames shoot through my office for a solid 10+ minutes so I didn’t think anything survived but if it was in a box or in a drawer, it made it! I spent 3 weeks digging and sifting through ashes in my office 😅 It’s still hard to believe! I’m looking forward to be back at it. I miss everyone 😊💗

Thank you all for the sweet, caring and supportive comments. They really mean a lot to me! It’s taken me 5-6 weeks to bring myself to get on Posh. It’s truly been too painful to look at my closet and see all that I lost.
We are finally getting settled and I’m working on organizing & cleaning jewlery + other items that made it. Sadly none of my bags and very few wallets made it because they were all displayed on the shelves.
