This dress belonged to my mother, who was a fashion-conscious woman. I'm guessing this was custom made due to the way the inseams are finished. The paper tag inside the jacket is difficult to read and I had to tape it back together but I can make out %worsted wool. The percentage could be 25%. There are some flaws in the fabric and the belt can use a bit of a rehab - please refer to the photos. The jacket and dress are both fully lined. There is hand-stitching on the inside of the bound buttonholes as well as the hem of the dress. All in all, this is quite a testament to the fashion of the times - think Jackie Kennedy in her pillbox hat. As best as I can make out the size is 10. When the dress is zipped (metal zipper) the waist measures 27" and the dress length is 23". I have no idea what the original price was so plugged in a number - please disregard it as it it totally made up. Poshmark lists this as a required answer.
