925 Silver, Iguala EHP Vintage midcentury, five panel, 8" box clasp Bracelet

Striking blend of midcentury modernism and tradition, this substantial vintage midcentury sterling silver bracelet is stunning. Iguala, in the State of Guerrero like nearby Taxco was a center of silver jewelry craftmanship. Many of their motifs from the 1940's, 1950's included local flora, fauna and folklore. The central design in each of these panels reminds me of a stylized tequila agave plant or maguey. Preowned this bracelet is in very good condition with patina entirely consistent with its age.
