There are 2 glass markings on the bottom and must be Japanese as it does state "BOTTLE MADE IN JAPAN" One mark in the center is a diamond shape with a letter t I believe 2nd mark is a capital G with a Y inside it, could not figure out the maker after researching long enough I believe these were popular in American kitchens in the 50's, 60's and 70's (Mid Century Modern - MCM). I used to have the rack and the stickers but cant find them, so its just the jars and caps. I did use them and put as many spices in them as possible. The reason the plastic part of the glass cap is discolored is from the spice that was in there. The darkest plastic was the jar filled to the top with cinnamon. I just washed/cleaned them so if you see water drops I did that. One jar has a tiny crack mark near the top of the jar not the stopper., please review closely one of the last pics. I just saw this while cleaning, I have popped the top an/off several times and it did not make it worse. You really have to look for it. Holds 2 ounces of liquid, 4.25 in tall
