American Brilliant Period, Dorflinger "Middlesex/Marlboro" Cut Glass Cordial Decanter c. 1885 - '95. Extraordinary, cut glass oval shaped cologne bottle/liquor decanter, made by Dorflinger during the American Brilliant Period. This pattern was called the "Middlesex" which has since been changed to the "Marlboro", an incredibly beautiful, light catching pattern with the matching round cut glass stopper. The high quality in the American Brilliant cut glass piece is heavy due to the lead content / thick / hand cut / variety in the patterns / exquisite faceted artwork / etched signature.
