Up for sale is another vintage item. These vintage penny loafers were purchased at The Fendi Rotunda Boutique in the center of Caesars Palace Forum Shoppes in Las Vegas, NV in 2000. They are in spectacular condition for being over 25 years old. Take VERY CLOSE looks at all the photos, taking good looks at the pristine stitching that is perfect. Not a thread is missing. The leather is shiny without any cuts or scrapes. Even the original Fendi "pennies" are intact which are penny-sized discs with the initial FF inside a five pointed star.The leather soles are also in unbelievable condition with the original pale color of leather still visible at mid-heel.The style number and size 8 D1611 37 1/2 is still as legible as can be inside the shoes. The only visible signs of wear are the wrinkles at the vamp where the foot bends. They were stored with the provided paper in the toes. However, I put cedar shoe trees in them which will smooth out the wrinkling the best they can. I will include the shoe trees along with the original Fendi shoe box and dust cover. These are a wonderful blast from the past!!!l
