Vintage 1940 Porcelain Goldscheider Beagle Large Ashtray RARE

Vintage 1940 Porcelain Goldscheider Beagle Ashtray is a rare find especially for any dog lover or collector looking for a rare gem to add to their collection! Hand painted porcelain 6” inch wide/long and 3” inches from top of his head to bottom of ashtray . Made by the Goldscheider factory in Trenton, New Jersey, which was associated with the original Goldscheider factory in Vienna, Austria. The bottom is stamped "Goldscheider USA". This tells us that it was made in 1940, because that is the only year that they operated in the USA as Goldscheider. The following year, they became Goldscheider-Everlast. The family, originally from Vienna, began their porcelain factory there. They left Vienna in 1938, opened a factory in England, and then went to Trenton, N.J. There they operated for the one year (1940), under the Goldschneider name. -A portion of the sales from my dog related collection will be donated to various rescue groups
