Vintage 60s 3-Piece Slubbed Silk Suit Embellished w/ Rhinestones, Pearls, Sz 14

This is a 50s/60s vintage 3-piece women's suit with a heavily embellished top, blazer jacket and pencil skirt. It's a stunning piece for formal occasions. Or, wear the shell and blazer on their own to dress it down. The tag in the jacket is marked "Kreeger's New Orleans 1865". Kreeger's was open from 1865 to 1986. I purchased this in 1994 in NOLA. This is SUCH a well made and quality piece; the attention to details are out of this realm! Material is unknown, but feels and looks to be to a slubbed silk blend. It has a subtle texture and sheen and is a lemon yellow color. (No material tags.) The sleeveless shell top of the set is where the real magic is! It is embellished in a pattern of fabric roses, rhinestones, pearls and painted metals beads. The only size tag is on the shirt and it is 14 (see measurements below). Please keep in mind this is a VINTAGE 14. Top has a back painted yellow metal zipper, is lined, has side slits and breast darts. Buttonless Blazer/Jacket has 3/4 length sleeves and is lined. Pencil skirt is lined and has a painted yellow metal side zipper and a button closure with a hook and eye. Measurements (taken flat/measured across): Top: Shoulders: 15.5" PTP: 19.5" Length : 19.5" Blazer: Shoulders: 16" PTP: 20" Length : 23" Sleeves: 20" Skirt: Waist: 14" Hips: 19" Length: 25: Condition EUC, truly! There is one faint mark on one of the sleeves (see last photo) and one discoloration (about the size of pencil eraser tip). Near perfect.
