Corbell & Co. Silverplate Owl Muffineer/sugar Caster

picked him up at an estate sale bc he's so cute! I didn't know what he was for, but online says it's a sugar shaker from the 1900s. I can't take the head off for the life of me, but i am pretty weak. looks to be in great shape.
