This Danish maker signed piece is in good condition, however it has some enamel loss on one heart. Known for his modernist and naturalistic designs, A versatile Danish artist and designer, Volmer Bahner (1912–1995) graduated from the College of Art and Industry in 1930. Having received several scholarships and awards, Bahner founded his own workshop and brand “VB” in Copenhagen in 1939, which he headed until his retirement in 1988. A nature lover, Bahner drew inspiration from the flowers and plants of the Danish countryside.
