alianahart8 @evellyno I’ve only seen this sweater listed once for a similar price and that’s what I went off of as it’s “rare”, it’s even been difficult to find photos of it anywhere. the black version typically is priced around $100-$160, and I’m always open to all offers but also not desperate to get rid of it

caffholter Hello! I am a knitter, and I am here to explain why this piece is so expensive. This is hand-knit and requires an advanced skill level. The colorwork is done through a technique called intarsia. There is a lot of colorwork involved and lots of different colors used. I see some spots where someone had to go back in and add detailing (the carrot, in particular) likely with a crochet hook. Don’t budge on price ;)
