WOW. What a find - tortoise shell Bakelite lid sits on gold woven metal box purse. Lined with black silky fabric. Brass hook & hasp closure. Stamped patent number on the bottom. The reverse pyramid style is 6” x 9” x 4” measured from top. There are a few flea bites - a light surface stain on the inside of the lid (I’d say from perfume), a tiny chip on the back left corner of the lid, and the attached chain has been ingeniously repaired on one side, but is virtually unnoticeable and the lid still hangs level.
