Hand-Painted Knit Dress

I've had this dress since 1991, when a musician friend gave it to me. Prior to that, she performed in it. It was like new when she gave it to me, no stains, no flaws. No tags. When I finally had occasion to wear it, someone spilled a drink (looks like kahlua) and it splashed the dress. So sad. I washed it cold-delicate, and the stains remained. Really cool functional buttons at neck and back slit. The face is hand-painted, and the eyes have blue rhinestones. The signature looks like "Robert" something. Stretch knit and unique. I doubt there's another one like this. A creative person could give it new life as a top, bedazzle the stains, or cut the face part out to frame as artwork, using the unique vintage buttons for something else.
