We work hard at organizing our closets so others see certain items first when they enter our closet. Now that’s all down the drain. What is the point in maintaining a visually aesthetic closet when RELEVANCE screws all that up? Just a suggestion, when you go into a closet, sort to JUST SHARED to make it make sense. And to see what items that posher wants you to see first when you enter their closet. We can beat this together PFFs! 🫪🫡 Here we go again. Poshmark isn’t even recognizable anymore. Every day I wake up to find something else has changed on posh. Today- my listings were all inactive. Cool. 🥸 So I went through and updated all my listings. Oh the fun. 😂 There’s too many things to address so let’s take to the comments to discuss. If I haven’t said already, I miss you all terribly! 💕 What’s your take on this Boutique update PFFs?? Or any of the other new updates? 🟢Bulk sharing being removed. 🟢Adding listing conditions from a drop down menu. 🟢Not being able to see or access your followers. ( there’s a trick to this, you can still access YOUR OWN followers) 🟢Not being able to access your shares. 🟢No more following! And many more changes….

dalinn1 I don’t like it. The listings are loaded based on the original listing date, not the latest one so you can’t really tell which ones you’ve done lately like when using just in. So basically if you don’t sell out or relist your entire closet every 90 days they’ll all be in the over 90 days section, or most of them. Also when you list an item it no longer returns you to where you were to list the next one. It takes you back to the top of the list 🙄 I was hopeful but naw.

beyoutifulheart @sarahbearuhhh When you choose “Replace Original”, do you know if it changes the listing date to the current date? I saw reports where some people then used the new search options and they were still showing listed over 60 days. I’m still trying to figure the whole thing out. Thank you so much for sharing 💗💗💗

nspearson WARNING!!!! I justed used the new PM filter tool to find all listings in my closet that are 61-90 days old. I compared that with this mornings inventory report and found a mismatch. One of my listings that the new filter flagged as being 61-90 days old is recorded in my inventory as being 47 days old. How do I report this to PM?????

sarahbearuhhh @dalinn1 I did notice that too! Mine were all in the over 90 because I’m a slacker when it comes to relisting lol. And yes it was starting to throw me off every time it bumped me back up. I think I thought the transfer of likes was the coolest part but @mpanzardi made more sense of that aspect. I love having smart PFFs! 🩷

dalinn1 @beyoutifulheart @sarahbearuhhh Everything that I’ve Relisted either by copy or replace original then shows up in the 1-30 days ago filter. Im assuming they will move into higher and higher time sorts as they age out of the current one, unless you relist again then it will start over. That being true, it seems eventually they’ll all be listed with latest listing date. Maybe they are just starting out with original listing date as a default for a starting point? Guessing as always on here🙄💖

Unfortunate since I just left a 30 year career and now have more free time to dedicate to my closet. Maybe I’ll focus on a different platform. Sad since I’ve got almost 9 years of daily work on this closet.

trishswishes Oh I could go on and on-the core foundation that made posh as special and stood out from other platforms was being able to share your items and get them at the top of the feed and others without having to pay or promote-yes they took that out by being the only platform to charge 20% but that was I felt worth it in the end-I am in four other platforms and because of the way Poshmarks platform worked

She also said sharing is irrelevant unless it’s in a party it might be seen in feed-“might” the only way to get your listings seen is how all other platforms work-list list list daily-she also said they are doing this to push everybody to do live shows-Ido not do live shows nor will I-i have watched them-not only do I feel this very “cliquish” the amount of time you have to put into it is just not doable for me

It may be better just to give my things away.at this point...but I'm a bit addicted to the process. shstandifer @trishswishes In my past working career, I’ve never seen changes implemented without explaining why, when they are coming & how to better make it work for you. They seem not to care. Example: why would sharing your own closet be important & at same time make the Button impossible to hit. Did they invited experienced Poshers to try it out? Doesn’t seem so. mesellables I was questioning what would be the benefit to removing so many features that help sellers sell their items (when that is how PM is getting their revenue) But I think it makes sense now. The key is the promoted closet option. By removing all of the free ways your listings are promoted - they are 'nudging you' ;) into paying to have your listings promoted by them. If I suddenly fall of the face of the PM digital word - I must have been right, lol.

nspearson @trishswishes I have had less than pleasant experience with submitting items to live shows. The several I have participated in seemed to have more sellers than buyers. Lots of items with no bids and the ones that do get bids mostly only get one or two leading to a ridiculously low selling price. I'm sure there are a (very) few shows out there where this is not the case, but I just don't do live shows any more. Wish PM would get rid of them.

cofounta I agree that they are trying to slyly force everyone into promoted listings. I tried it in the beta stage and yes I made lots more sales but most of my profits went to fees!!🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I guess it would work if you had 1000’s of listings but for smaller closets it’s not worth it. I don’t think I will be putting as much effort into growing this business if their only concern is THEIR bottom line and not ours!🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

saucyandsassy @mesellables Yes, I first tried Promoted Closet in the Beta stage and got many more sales, I was impressed. Since then I only use it when I get 'desperate' for sales, as it brings many more viewers. I hate myself for using it, though, as the $$ really adds up. Try it for a week...so easy to do...BUT remember to manually stop it, or their promo continues and your credit card charges are continued. *FYI it's getting harder for me to rationalize paying $23/week (plus 20% per item) to sell here.*

ambentzen I can’t stand the changes. Posh is like unrecognizable. I loved posh because it was different than the other platforms and I loved the community and how we helped each other. Constantly pushing live selling and promoting closets plus all the other ridiculous changes make it so hard for me to even want to be here anymore. I miss the community aspect and sales!!! I have to have a posh listing just to communicate with my friends (this one). It’s sad. The newsfeed is a joke! We had the opportunity to filter if we wanted. They took that away from us and for hours it’s like our closet is dead if we didn’t know better. I hate this for all of us OG’s. We are a part of what made this app successful. They forget that.

Cust service is a joke. We relied on each other to learn the ways. Share games are so difficult to host now. We make do but it’s a hassle. mesellables They also don't even show the pfp's of the people who follow you anymore, and they just say example: '-such and such followed you- and 3 other people. And you have to click it to see the other 3. No community anymore. I agree, it's like the closet is dead, no new notifications for hours. They also don't show pfp's when someone shares your listings.

Funny thing, I believe, am not 100% sure, I thought being a level 2 PA is supposed to give you perks of beta testing- but this roll out testing doesn't feel like a perk if it does work like that!

suebascloset Hi PFFs! I too miss the old Posh 😢 It feels cold and impersonal now. Closets no longer have any personality. There’s plenty of “personality” with some Lives I guess but that’s not my cup of tea. I said I would Posh as long as I was having fun…that was almost seven years ago. Bundles with items are public so they clearly don’t want us to have any privacy anymore. I don’t know where they’re getting their ideas but those people need fired. The Posh Community that had developed was very special and supportive. Now, it takes weeks to get anything but a generic response. It’s a true shame. A true shame! suebascloset What’s with the default sort? Did they fix that yet? Last I checked, it doesn’t matter how I order my listings. Visitors to my closet see something completely different. I checked my mom’s view and my son’s view of my closet and they both saw the same listings in the same order but not MY order. An 84yo woman and 25yo male w/the same “relevance” sort? Make it make sense. And I’m afraid to de-list anything for fear of being suspended.

We work so hard organizing our items and now they’re sorted by ‘relevance’? That makes zero sense why your mom and son see the same mixed up listings. I relisted all my items today (many were over s year old), but if I’m not here tomorrow that’s why. 😂 And thay right there, why should we be scared to do the things they used to instruct us yo do. It’s all madness I tells ya. 😜

I was in total shock because as you said, I’m used to 3 days for a reply. I hope you get a response soon. The only thing they haven’t updated is their support, their most important asset to us. I do kinda like the inactive listing alert that way you keep your closet fresh all time especially Poshers with large closets . However how often with items become inactive if nobody likes them . klees306 OMG. Got an email indicating I have inactive listings. There was no explanation. I spent over 4 hours so far to re-list with each item I had to edit, next and list. I have more than 1000 listings. I still have more. They stole 4 hours of my now unproductive day that I won't get back. I have fire 🔥 coming out of my nose right now.

sarahbearuhhh @qkagirl0367 I hope you’re ok girl. Confused is pretty much where we all are. So shares count but they and likes do not show up in the main feed anymore. You have to click on their individual tabs. It’ll look like your closet is a ghost town if you don’t click those tabs every now and then.

sarahbearuhhh @qkagirl0367 What else? Oh! They made old listings that don’t get any action ’inactive’. You have to manually reactivate them so they show up in feed. Taglists are obsolete now. You can tag away but no one on the taglist will get notified. Someone found a way around that for share games. If you tag ONE person

But when I’m featured in a game and get a bunch of shares I get tons more action on my items (likes, purchases) so sharing still must do something. Don’t write it off quite yet PFF! 🤗
