dalinn1I don’t like it. The listings are loaded based on the original listing date, not the latest one so you can’t really tell which ones you’ve done lately like when using just in. So basically if you don’t sell out or relist your entire closet every 90 days they’ll all be in the over 90 days section, or most of them. Also when you list an item it no longer returns you to where you were to list the next one. It takes you back to the top of the list 🙄 I was hopeful but naw.

nspearsonWARNING!!!! I justed used the new PM filter tool to find all listings in my closet that are 61-90 days old. I compared that with this mornings inventory report and found a mismatch. One of my listings that the new filter flagged as being 61-90 days old is recorded in my inventory as being 47 days old. How do I report this to PM?????

And yes it was starting to throw me off every time it bumped me back up. I think I thought the transfer of likes was the coolest part but @mpanzardi made more sense of that aspect. dalinn1@beyoutifulheart @sarahbearuhhh Everything that I’ve Relisted either by copy or replace original then shows up in the 1-30 days ago filter. Im assuming they will move into higher and higher time sorts as they age out of the current one, unless you relist again then it will start over. That being true, it seems eventually they’ll all be listed with latest listing date. Maybe they are just starting out with original listing date as a default for a starting point? Guessing as always on here🙄💖

Example: why would sharing your own closet be important & at same time make the Button impossible to hit. Did they invited experienced Poshers to try it out? Doesn’t seem so. mesellablesI was questioning what would be the benefit to removing so many features that help sellers sell their items (when that is how PM is getting their revenue) But I think it makes sense now. The key is the promoted closet option. By removing all of the free ways your listings are promoted - they are 'nudging you' ;) into paying to have your listings promoted by them. If I suddenly fall of the face of the PM digital word - I must have been right, lol.

nspearson@trishswishes I have had less than pleasant experience with submitting items to live shows. The several I have participated in seemed to have more sellers than buyers. Lots of items with no bids and the ones that do get bids mostly only get one or two leading to a ridiculously low selling price. I'm sure there are a (very) few shows out there where this is not the case, but I just don't do live shows any more. Wish PM would get rid of them.

cofountaI agree that they are trying to slyly force everyone into promoted listings. I tried it in the beta stage and yes I made lots more sales but most of my profits went to fees!!🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I guess it would work if you had 1000’s of listings but for smaller closets it’s not worth it. saucyandsassy@mesellables Yes, I first tried Promoted Closet in the Beta stage and got many more sales, I was impressed. Since then I only use it when I get 'desperate' for sales, as it brings many more viewers. I hate myself for using it, though, as the $$ really adds up. Try it for a week...so easy to do...BUT remember to manually stop it, or their promo continues and your credit card charges are continued. *FYI it's getting harder for me to rationalize paying $23/week (plus 20% per item) to sell here.*

ambentzenI can’t stand the changes. Posh is like unrecognizable. I loved posh because it was different than the other platforms and I loved the community and how we helped each other. And you have to click it to see the other 3. No community anymore. I agree, it's like the closet is dead, no new notifications for hours. I checked my mom’s view and my son’s view of my closet and they both saw the same listings in the same order but not MY order. An 84yo woman and 25yo male w/the same “relevance” sort? Make it make sense. And I’m afraid to de-list anything for fear of being suspended.

You have to click on their individual tabs. It’ll look like your closet is a ghost town if you don’t click those tabs every now and then.

sapurses@sarahbearuhhh Something I just noticed…..it may have taken effect earlier….but sharing from the feed is not as easy as it used to be. 😞😞. Also, it is now impossible to go from your likes to a closet. If the item is no longer for sale it takes you directly to alternate closets. I have always used my likes to go to certain closets that I have shared with.

sapurses@mesellables I think one of the biggest downfalls is POSH’s inability to curb the replicas and spammers. People used to shop trusting Posh’s authenticity program. But in my opinion the amount of fakes have diluted their reputation.

sapurses@mesellables Another issue is the “live parties”. I feel that they invite more of a bargain hunter philosophy to what was a higher market site. I know Posh is now in the hands of a huge owner that prefers quantity to quality.

Does Poshmark authenticate the items, or is it just a verification that the seller had it authenticated? (I have been on posh for 5yrs now but there are still some areas I I must admit I am unfamiliar with) I am aware how similar processes work on other sites but not this one specificly in detail.

sapurses@mesellables Ask away ….i have been here over 9 years. I used to sell higher dollar items ….basically anything over $499 goes to Posh to authenticate before it goes to the buyer. However I have heard of quite a few examples of Posh authenticating an item and when the buyer takes it in to the vendor that say “replica”.

It was also good that when we listed an item it stayed active and we didn’t have to reactivate it. What I miss the most is what made posh special. The community.

I’ll post a pic in like 5 minutes on this listing so you can see what they’re referring to. It all has to do with following and clicking the ‘blues’ to follow people. That’s how I made most of my sales and they took it away.

Now the followers are gone on everyone’s page. We can’t follow people anymore. (Unless you have an old phone that is way behind in updates, lol me)
