Vintage (03) Banana Republic Black Strapless Cocktail Dress NWT Sz 4P

This elegant black dress from Banana Republic is designed for a chic cocktail night out. Featuring a strapless neckline and a sleek sheath silhouette, it offers a timeless and sophisticated look. The stylish front slit adds a touch of allure to its minimalist design. Light boning throughout the top for shaping support. GORGEOUS, classic, wool blend dress!! NEVER WORN, tag still attached! (Only tried on a few times over the years.) Purchased at least 15-20 years ago... From the '03/HOL' on the tag, I believe it's from BR's 2003 Holiday Collection; I've searched briefly & was unable to find this particular dress so far. So, very likely vintage. Unfortunately for me, it's another one I bought & never wore; I am not a 'Petite' in the chest & planned on having it tailored, but never did & here we are. It still fits everywhere else; stunning fit & surprisingly comfortable with its silky inner lining! I have NO CLUE HOW, (I guess it must have snagged on another dress in my storage closet at some point??), but while taking photos, I noticed 2 TINY little holes halfway down the front left skirt panel (see last pic). I am happy to either sew them and/or (perm) fabric patch from the inside before shipping, however I wanted to leave that option up to the buyer, so I have not touched them as of yet since I just noticed.
