Do you have any opinion on how these fit in the hips? I do see the measurements, but I really don’t know how that will relate when it comes to stretching and being flattering.

@chamberklc they are meant to be a looser fitting style. I don’t find that they are tight over my hips when I try them on, but I can’t really guess how they would fit you specifically.
