What is the square button on the side and the other button on the other side??

@tbobbie It’s a little odd. The bag will scrunch down vertically so there is a snap on one side and the button secures on the other side to the zipper pull. I think that is why the zipper pull may have cracked though. It has been glued but I don’t really see the point of making the bag shorter.
