Unique jumpsuit made in Philippines using recycled flour sacks, purchased in Brooklyn. See below for company info:
Arapilak is derived from Cuyonon words
"ara" and "pilak" which translates to "no
waste"
.
Our vision is to help develop the right
mindset about caring for Mother Earth
by lessening our carbon footprint
through sustainable practices.
In the past, getting eco-friendly and
zero-waste tools wasn't easy, which is
another reason why we came up with
AraPilak.
We want to make it more convenient
for Panawenyos and everyone to start
their own zero-waste kits just by visiting
one store.
Now, we sell low-waste and sustainable
products from bamboo straws to
upcycled and earth- friendly clothing.
We currently have three groups of
farmers and crafters where we source
our items from.
By making these products more
accessible to Palawenyos we are also
able to help support the communities
that rely on these natural resources for their livelihood.
