Gorgeous 1950s true vintage Elegance Evans purse. Brown ostrich leather with bamboo wood handle and gold town hardware. Found in a New York estate sale, it belonged to a DuPont heiress. Please note there are cracks in the leather on one side, consistent with age (this bag is 70+ years old, excellent condition for age). These are not very noticeable and likely could be stitched by a skilled leatherman. Bag is 9.5” wide x 8.5” tall, 13” tall with handle drop.
