FOX & FLUEVOG 1970s Handmade Leather Belt with Brass Buckle

Calling all Fluevog collectors and enthusiasts! Rare handmade Fox & Fluevog belt made by John Fluevog and Peter Fox in the 1970s Total length: 37”, Width: 1.5” Singed ‘Handmade by Fox + Fluevog in Victoria, B.C.’ and inscribed with some partially covered text. Based on what is visible I think it is a bible verse (Matthew 6:22) that says “the eye is the lamp of the body so if your eyes are good your body will be full of light.” The brass buckle is a bit tarnished and one of its backing straps needs to be repaired (pictured). But otherwise it is in really excellent vintage condition. The Museum of Vancouver did an exhibit titled ‘Fox, Fluevog and Friends’ in 2010. I have included a picture of some of the shoes they displayed. You can really see how the belt would perfectly match them. Especially the shoe in the middle.
