A note from Dr. Googles:
Collarbone-length freshwater pearl necklaces, often referred to as princess-length, were particularly popular during the 1920s and 1930s, as well as the 1940s and 1950s. Pearls were a staple accessory in the Roaring Twenties and continued to be a classic choice in later decades, especially with the rise of freshwater pearl cultivation. During these periods, they were a popular choice for both casual and formal wear, offering a touch of elegance and sophistication.
