Wow. I still have these. I worked for a highly esteemed dance supply shop in WA State as assistant manager. This was in the late 90s. (I quit my job in 1997.) I was responsible for every aspect of running a business, including choosing the stock. This was before we had normal computers (if you had a word processor and a car phone the size of a brick you were living large! 😆). My clientele came from other states and from Canada to buy our products because we always carried the most cutting edge, trendy, beautiful, and most prestigious brands. This is is not the most GLAMOROUS part of my inventory, but it was a staple. I would choose how many of every size and color I wanted from the manufacturer, and I ALWAYS made sure I included one or two (maybe three 😆) of the best stuff. (I paid the wholesale cost, lol). These are my own Danskin Convertible tights/ leotard. I probably wore them ... but they're in EUC, especially being about 30 years old! I cannot find any runs in the fabric, or other faults with this garment. As a dancer, I would wear the entire piece as a camisole leotard with footed tights, maybe throw a ballet wrap skirt and a shrug over it. The hole underneath the foot allows you to wear these for different styles of dance by taking your foot out and folding the material up to be footless or when you need to transition to street-wear. You can also fold down the top so it sits snuggly around your waist.
