Reposhing this item I purchased from @melanieaimee. I carried this bag regularly for about a year and the condition reflects that. There is cosmetic damage to the leather, the edges of the straps are slightly frayed where they meet the bag (these can be replaced, if desired), and there's a bit of makeup on the interior. Smoke free home! I do have a cat, however clothing is stored in a room the cat does not have access to. Open to offers! Let me know if there are questions.

sjuuu@laurentaylor757 The leather is rigid/structured enough that it holds its shape well. In terms of sitting on its base successfully: When empty or not containing much, the weight of the straps/handle tends to pull it backwards. When it has items in it, that typically provides enough counter balance against that weight and it sits up just fine.
