This would make a nice holiday party blouse or a New Years blouse with black pants, it is so pretty & my pics don't do it justice. My phone is older so pics don't come out the best with black items, there is no pink staining or the color pink in this blouse it's just how my camera captures them. This blouse has short sleeves & has light speckles of bronze shimmer throughout, it crosses over in the front & you may want to add a modesty snap if needed, it does have a piece of material that crosses above the chest to help keep it in place, it's shown in the photos. The blouse has a slightly wider look at the bottom but I just wouldn't call it banded as it fits loosely, not like an actual tight-fitting band, but that might also depend on how your body type is, & it has tiny tiny ruffling at the hem.
