I am always fascinated by these Victorian watch hooks and how something so utilitarian can be so beautiful as well as whimsical. I started collecting these fellows a few years ago and am so glad I was enticed by them.

I finally found one for the shop and I am delighted to share him with you. 
This is a fine 9ct. rolled gold belt buckle watch hook and I believe it to be either an orange blossom or a wild rose that bump out under the jump ring ... which has been oxidized. On the tail of the belt there is detailed tool work around the belt holes and along the outer edge. This pattern is found on both sides.
Ready to wear and looking for a family of seals, fobs and heart charms!
