This gold colored vintage St. John chain belt is 40 inches long (the large metal rectangles are 27 inches long and the small loop part of the belt is 13 inches long). It features a lobster clasp closure and can be worn at the waist or dropped below the waist. It is in perfect condition.

res0718 Can this belt me clasped on the chain portion to make it larger? For example my waist is a 34” so if I wore or lower it would need to be closed ar like 36”. Thanks.

bunny49 @res0718 This is an authentic piece and the words "St. John" are stamped into the square metal piece at the end of the chain. I purchased this about 28 years ago at the St. John Boutique in Manhattan. It is like new.

bunny49 @res0718 Hi, I responded to your first message but somehow my answer did not show up on the website (glitch or just me!!!). The lobster clasp easily hooks on to the chain portion of the belt. So, you could easily wear it hooked on at 36" with a 4 inch drop.
