The fabric is a lil on the thin side but isnt see thru other than a possible silhouette when back lit. It's a very lightweight fabric that will really flare out when spinning, but it has absolutely no stretch to it.(Please check the size chart in the photos) I purchased this as a Barbie costume so not only do you get this playful pink dress, you also get the accessories (except shoes) which include the matching large hair bow barette, the white fabric flower necklace & the rhinestone belt buckle on the belt strap. Its interesting how they used this on the models. They slid the buckle onto the center of the belt strap & tied it in the back.🤨Though it might not be super sturdy & and functional, it can also be threaded on one end of the strap & used much like a normal belt. Either way is super cute.😊This dress is tagged a size large & I think it may run just a tiny but large. It could possibly even work for an extra large, but it would be a tighter fit & less comfortable. I typically wear size large in most brands comfortably & i tried this on once & I had extra room, mostly in the bust & upper back area no matter how I adjusted the tie shoulder straps.
