amysupanich it’s a promotion that Poshmark does. Its use to be every Friday & Sunday but I noticed they’ve been doing this on Thursday’s lately do I’m not really 100% sure what other day besides Sunday they did this. If you don’t want to I totally understand I just thought I’d ask. Thank you so much!

amysupanich @sellen80 you bet. If you look at the very top of the feed page there’s different banners that go across. If you looked now, one would say either Clear or Clean Out Closet, it was always every Friday & Sunday. It’s still on Sundays but I don’t know if it’s on Thursdays or Fridays now. If you see the banner then you will know. If you only have say one person who liked the item I wouldn’t drop the price then.

amysupanich @sellen80 I wait until I have a few people who liked it. The notification for the $4.99 shipping goes to any person who liked the item before you dropped the price. The item you’re dropping the price on has to sell for at least $10 to qualify. If you drop the price to anything below $10 it won’t qualify. One more thing that’s good to know, say you dropped the price from $20 to $18,

amysupanich @sellen80 nobody buys it so you decide to bring the price back up to $20, when you go to drop the price again, it will only go from the lowest price you’ve ever had it at. You always have to drop it a minimum of 10% to qualify. But Poshmark rounds so if it’s $18, 10% means it will drop to $16. Back to what I was saying though, so you brought your price back up to $20,

amysupanich @sellen80 the following week you want to try again, it has to drop 10% from the lowest price you’ve had it at. So it would drop from the $18 that you had dropped it to, and have to go to $16, if it doesn’t sell next time it will have to go to $14 to qualify. But you can always make a new listing and start over. On those 2 days of the week the $4.99 shipping does not come out of your profit.

amysupanich @sellen80 Last thing, once you do drop the price on either of those days, the people who liked the item gets the notification for the $4.99 shipping, it only last for 6 hours from when you dropped the price. After 6 hrs the $4.99 shipping goes away. Sorry for the long message. If you ever have any questions don’t hesitate to ask me. I’m still learning stuff and I’ve been doing this for 3-4 years.
