incredibly cool 1940s three piece knit suit- skirt, jacket and belt. the intricate detailing on this suit is amazing. no label but I suspect this was a home made item. jacket has shoulder pads, slim sleeves, button front closer at waist, knit braid decorative belt. please note the serious fade! this is the sets biggest flaw. it is only on one side of the jacket, see photos. skirt has button and loops closer at side. waist band has Brian cotton braid sewn in to stabilize it. some very slight fade on skirt. belt! belt had buttons and loops. cotton cloth lining for stiffness. size? small, maybe medium. it fits the dress form really well at 34 inch bust, 27 inch waist. I wear a 40 inch bust and 30 inch waist and the suit was kind of tight. offers? I will entertain reasonable offers on this unique item because of the fade.
