Vntage handmade piece with no tags. Dark black and appears charcoal in bright sunlight due to silver tone strands. Made early 1950's, likely originates from Chile or Patagonia when mom was a teacher. Sturdy hardy smooth, scratchy wool piece. Type of wool is unknown. Measures 23x64 inches. Plus a loose crochet 4 inch on each end plus a 5+ inch fringe. Possibly a great lap blanket (football or soccer?) or bed scarf (over 70 inches from end to end). Please contact with questions, for additional photos etc.
