Gorgeous Vintage 35-Inch Faux Pearls Strand Individually Knotted

This is a vintage, single-strand pearl necklace. The pearls are a uniform, light cream color with a subtle luster and the necklace measures approximately 35 inches in length. The pearls are strung on a fine, knotted cord. The clasp is a simple, gold-tone hook and eye closure. There are minor surface imperfections and slight discoloration on some of the pearls, consistent with age and use. These originally fooled me into thinking they were real pearls, as they feel heavier than typical costume jewelry (2.3oz), individually strung and knotted, and they are slightly different sizes/ have imperfections & variations, as genuine pearls would have. However on closer examination, a few pearls have slight raised edges at holes, looking like a paint or film is lifting just a little, so I'm thinking faux rather than genuine pearls (see pictures).
