davecapecod Hi, when you say one shoe slips off, is that because the lacing system needs to be tightened (not sure if possible) or maybe a variation in the leather? Is the black/darker mark a stain or natural discoloration? Thanks

jamesa69 Hey! I'm very sorry I didn't see this before you purchased the Sperry's. I do not think it'sa matter of tightening the laces...I think maybe how the shoe was made like a flaw possibly.
