Yes, it really is faux leather, but it's hard to tell. I've added a twilly, front chain and gate clasp, and a chain and leather shoulder Strap. It's the details in accessorizing that make the difference. Its popular style and the gleaming gold hardware give it a luxurious look. It measures 14.5x12x6, similar in size to birkin 35, and will hold an iPad and just about anything else you'd need to carry. It is in excellent pre-owned condition. I can find no signs of wear, even in the gold feet on the bottom of the bag.
