Charming English Cottage Collectable handmade in England in 1980’s

Beautiful Lilliput Lane "Ash Nook" cottage figurine, handmade in the UK. The model was first introduced in the 1980’s and is part of the English, South East Collection. Lilliput Lane cottages are miniature models inspired by the picturesque cottages of Britain. Little stone house decor mantel piece with flowers and bushes farmhouse decor. It is in perfect vintage condition. It measures approximately 3" tall by 3 1/4" wide. Lilliput Lane studio was founded by David Tate and is situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, in the North of England. Every cottage is handmade and are David's interpretation of the essence of English vernacular architecture. Ash Nook cottage is in Hertfordshire and would originally been inhabited by a village artisan. Built from timber frame and infilled with plaster and brick it has been clad in weatherboards to protect its residents from the sharp Winter winds that blow in from East Anglia.
